PRS Positional Style Matches
PRS positional style matches. Shooters will be shooting from a variety of barricades & props and positions. Some stages will have multi-distances and targets and positions. There will usually be 8 to 10 stages in the match. Match fee will be $45.
TYL (test your limits)
We will shoot eight different distances from 50 yards to 275 yards. At each distance you will shoot targets from large to small with 10 rounds must hit to move on and shoot any remaining rounds on the smallest target. You’ll have a 2 minute time frame. Large targets will be generous in the beginning but definitely get small at the end. Shooters will be able to shoot from the bench or prone if they wish and will only be able to use a bipod in the front and sandbag in the back of their gun. As always this will be a family-friendly atmosphere shooters will be encouraged to help each other out. Fee will be $40 per shooter , half price for kids 16 and under. The range will have a loaner rifle available if somebody would like to come and try this event . Loaner rifle is free to shooter , they will just need to pay for the ammo which we will have and we will have all the dope for the rifle for you. Gate will open at 7:30 and from 8:00 to 8:20 the range will be open for shooters to check their dope at any of the targets or ranges.
ELR (extreme long range)
There will be 4 stages . Each stage you will shoot at two different distances with 10 rounds per distance . 2 minutes to set up . 4 minutes to finish the stage . Shooter will be allowed one personal spotter to help them with corrections. If you do not have a personal spotter the range will help you out. Target size will be three to four MOA. Distances will be 250 yd to 500 yd. We will have hit indicator lights at 400 450 and 500. All other targets will react when hit.. We are also working on getting a Target set up at 524 yards to shoot for the 22 ELR record. There will be 3 classifications.
- Limited which will be factory produced ammo.
- Unlimited hand loaded ammo.
- The third will be production class which means rifle and optic MSRP must be under $1500
Match fee will be $40 for adults $20 for youth 16 and under . We will pay back cash to the shooters for the first three places depending on the number of participants.
