June 20th Course of Fire

Stage 1:  TYL   150 yards Weak

Distance: 150 yards 

Round Count:  10

Possible Points:  10

Par Time:  1:30

 Shooter will engage all targets from weak side.  Shooter will start with gun on the bench, mag in bolt back, standing behind your gun.  When time starts shooter may sit behind the rifle and engage the 150 yard TYL rack.  Round targets large to small, must hit target with one round to move to next smaller target.  Engage smallest target with any remaining rounds.   When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 2SNAKE CHARMER

Distance:  80 yards

Round Count:  10

Possible Points:  10

Par Time:  1:00

Shooter will start with gun on the bench, mag in bolt back, standing behind your gun. When time starts shooter may sit behind the rifle and engage the snake charming target above the blue tub at 80 yards.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 3:  REPEAT

Distance:  50 yards to 200 yards

Par Time:  1:30

 Shooter will start with gun on the bench, mag in bolt back, standing behind your gun.  When time starts shooter may sit behind the rifle and engage the 50 yard large KYL target with one round and then move to 100 yard prairie dog target with one round.  Back to 50 yard large KYL target with one round then 125 yard prairie dog target with one round.  Back to 50 yard with one round then 150 yard cowboy with one round.  Back to 50 yard with one round then 175 yard prairie dog 1 round.  Back to 50 yard with 1 round then 200 yard silhouette. When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back

Stage 4POLE DANCE

Distance:  50 yards, 75 yards  &  100 yards

Round Count:  10

Par Time:  1:30

Shooter will start mag in, bolt back port of arms.  During this stage shooters gun must touch the pole when engaging targets.  When time starts shooter will stand and shoot 50 yard orange pig on ground with 3 rounds.  Next, shooter will kneel and engage 75 yard prairie dog with 3 rounds. Last, shooter will set and engage 100 yard prairie dog with 4 rounds.  NO equipment may be strapped to the pole.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 5THE HILL

Distance:  150 yards, 175 yards & 200 yards

Round Count:  10

Par Time:  1:30

This stage will be shot prone!    Shooter will start mag in bolt back port of arms.  When time starts the shooter will lay prone and engage the 150 yard cowboy with 2 rounds.  Then the shooter will engage the 175 yard prairie dog with 2 rounds.  Then the shooter will engage the 200 yard silhouette with 2 rounds. Then back to 150 yards for 1 round. Then to 175 yards with 1 round.  Then to 200 yards with 2 rounds.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 6:  UNSUPPORTED DUELING TREE

Distance:  50 yards & 100 yards

Round Count:  10

Possible Points:  10

Par Time:  1:30

Shooter will start mag in bolt back port of arms.  When time starts shooter will kneel and shoot the dueling tree with 5 rounds at 50 yards.  Shooter will then go prone UNSUPPORTED at 100 yards with 5 rounds at the large square.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolts back.

Stage 7:  WEAK BARRICADE

Distance:  75 Yards

Round Count:  10

Par Time:   1:30

This stage will be shot with your weak side.  Shooter will start with mag in bolt back port of arms.  When time starts shooter will start at top of barricade and shoot the round target at 75 yards with 2 rounds.  Then move to the next level down and repeat with 2 rounds.  Then move to next level down and repeat with 2 rounds.  Then move to bottom level and repeat with 2 rounds.  Then move to center of barricade and send the last 2 rounds.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 8:   BARRELS OF FUN

Distance: 100 yards.

Round Count:  10

Possible Points:  10

Par Time:  1:30

 Shooter will start mag in bolt back port of arms.  When time starts the shooter will shoot off the top of barrel laying on its side for 3 rounds at the 100 yard prairie dog.  Then shooter will move to the next barrel that is standing up and shoot from the top of it with 4 rounds at the prairie dog at 100 yards.  Then shooter will move to barrel three laying on its side laying long ways from you.  Shooter will shoot from top of barrel with 3 rounds at the 100 yard prairie dog.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 9:  THE ROOF

Distance:  125 yards

Round Count:  10

Possible Points:  10

Par Time:  1:30

Shooter will start port of arms mag in bolt back.  When time starts shooter will shoot from his strong side leaning on the roof, feet on ground engage 3 shots at the 125 yard squirrel.  Then move to the top of roof, no feet on ground reengage the 125 yard squirrel with 3 shots.  Then move to your weak side and lean on roof and engage 125 yard squirrel with 4 shots.  Compensation will be made for shooters with physical disability for top of roof.  When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.

Stage 10:  K Y L

Distance:  50 yards

Round count:  5

Possible Points:  11

Par Time:  1:30

Shooter will start with gun on the bench mag in, bolt back sitting behind gun.  When time starts shooter will engage the KYL rack from largest to smallest.  One shot per target.  Shooter may stop at any point in time to keep his points, but if he misses a shot, shooter will lose all points for this stage.  KNOW  YOUR LIMIT.   When shooter is finished shooting or time has run out, remove the mag and bolt back.  Points for this stage will be 2 points per target except for the smallest one is worth 3 points.
